The Association of Paediatric Pathologists of India (APPI), is a non- profitable, educational and scientific organization with a primary aim to foster and promote knowledge in the practice of paediatric pathology in India and abroad.

Objectives 

  1. To motivate, promote and facilitate the training programs in paediatric pathology as well as others in healthcare related to paediatric pathology. 
  2. To conduct conferences, CME, workshops, seminars and demonstrations to enhance awareness and promote interest in the field of paediatric pathology.
  3. To establish and maintain interdisciplinary relationships by collaborating with other societies to facilitate better healthcare in the field of paediatric pathology in and outside India.
  4. To respect and protect the interest of its members.
  5. To interact with other national and international bodies for promoting research and teaching in the discipline of paediatric pathology such as the Indian Association of Pathologists & Microbiologists (IAPM), International Academy of Pathologists (IAP) and its Indian division, Society of Paediatric Pathologists (SPP), International Paediatric Pathology Association (IPPA), Paediatric Pathology Society(PPS) etc.
